OPSC Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) Recruitment for 139 Posts

Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) invited Online application for the post of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT). Master Degree in concerned subject is required to be eligible for the pots. Candidate must speak, read and write in Odia language. total 139 vacant posts are to filled up on the basis of written examination followed by personality test. Total Vacancies: 139 (43-w), UR: 69 (23-w), SC: 15 (4-w), ST: 54 (16-w), SEBC: 01, PWD: 07

Age: 21 (twenty one) years and must not be above the age of 32 (thirty two) years as on the 1st day of January 2021. ( relaxation by five (5) years for SC/ST/SEBC)

Essential Qualification:

i)  A candidate must have a Masters Degree in the subject concerned from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate

OR 

Must have possessed two years integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course from Regional College of Education NCERT in the concerned subject with minimum 50% marks in aggregate

ii) Have B.Ed. or equivalent degree recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi as equivalent with B.Ed. from a recognized University.

Desirable Qualification:

Diploma or Degree in Computer Application.

Other Eligibility Condition:

A candidate should be able to speak, read and write Odia,

Selection Process :

i) Written Examination – 150 Marks

a) General English – 20 Marks

b) Computer Aptitude – 10 Marks

c) Pedagogy – 10 Marks

d) General Knowledge 10 Marks

e) the subject concerned – 100 Marks

ii) Viva Voce test – 50 Marks
